| Safari 4.0 available in final version
Yesterday, Apple has posted the final version of Safari 4 for Mac OS X and Windows. Out for several months in beta, Safari 4 introduces a new engine, Nitro, which significantly accelerates the consultation of sites using Javascript extensively. The engine of Safari 4 also offers compatibility with HTML 5 and pass the Acid Test 3 100%.
Safari 4 presents several improvements to its interface it is now possible to navigate the favorites in the history via the iTunes CoverFlow view, and display a mosaic of the most visited sites. The latter can be opened manually, but also the browser automatically when opening a tab. The Windows version for its benefits of better integration with the graphical interface, including Windows Vista since it finally receives the support of Aero. Compared with the beta, it should be noted, however, the outright abandonment of the tabs at the top of the window. Apparently considered too confusing, it leaves open the way to a classic layout of the tabs below the toolbar. Safari 4 is available now on our software for Mac OS X (Leopard and Tiger) and Windows (XP, Vista).
