| New Face of Windows 7 Beta - Windows 7 Mini Beta
According to information obtained from valid sources, Microsoft intends to launch a new phase of testing of Windows 7, known as "mini-beta", before the end of April, which means that by the time localization of the OS will be finished. At this stage, the task of testers will be to assess the level of localization of Windows 7. It is reported that Microsoft is planning mini-beta releases of Windows 7. The software giant has said nothing about mini-beta builds of Windows 7 yet. Microsoft will offer a localized copy of Windows 7 tailored to the Russian market for testing by the end of April 2009 under a mini-beta testing phase. At the end of the past month, the Redmond company managed to launch the Windows 7 TechNet Release Candidate page early indicating that the RC bits would be dropped in May 2009 in the following languages: English, German, Japanese, French, and Spanish without Hindi or Arabic. Microsoft said absolutely nothing about a Russian flavor of Windows 7. This will hurt Indians. Mr. Gates should keep in mind that the most talented engineers working at Microsoft are Indians. |
