| Nokia is going to use Linux in their phones
At the Nokia World event announcements on the Nokia N97 took place in Barcelona, the company reported the company's intention to start using Linux in their phones class high end. Vice-president of Nokia said that in the long run, Linux will become a serious alternative platform for Symbian, used in today's older phones Nokia. Currently Nokia is already using in their online map operating system, open-source Linux maemo, but not yet burning desire to apply it in their other vehicles. Perhaps in the future this will change. |
