IBM Lotus Notes now on Nokia S60

Much of the success of BlackBerry in a business derives from the system that is behind its devices with corporate infrastructure.

This is a clear to Nokia, which recently announced interesting news regarding the compatibility of its smartphone based on S60 platform. IBM Lotus Notes is a suite that includes email, calendar, tasks, much used in a business setting, with 140 million users worldwide.

Now with the Nokia S60 3rd Edition users can connect remotely to your account with the software Lotus Notes Traveler, which already offers long been the same functionality for users with terminals running Microsoft Windows Mobile.

The software platform for Nokia phones should be available by December and is a very important move for the dissemination of the Finnish mobile giant among the business users.
