I have solved this problem now. Try to follow the below steps if PREMIERE and Photoshop are not opening after their installation:
    1. First of all go to adobe.com,
    2. After that select DOWNLOADS and then select UPDATES in the drop menu
    3. Now you have to choose Acrobat-Windows in the product menu
    4. Now you can go down to VERSION 8.1 and select:
    5. "Adobe Acrobat 8 Licensing Service Update (Windows Vista Only)"
    6. After that read the instructions at the bottom of the page before downloading.

I have also solved this problem now. If there is anyone who has updated the fonts folder with new fonts then remove that immediately because PHOTOSHOP is not able to handle the extra fonts other than the basic system fonts, which is very bad. Check the adobe help article for reducing the number of active fonts in Windows Vista from here - http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/view...4915&sliceId=1
