None of my SATA drives are detected in Windows Vista

I need some some help to find my SATA drives. I had installed Windows Vista. Actually it was a upgrade that was installed over Windows XP. There is one more 250GB Sata hard drive connected to the system. Somehow after upgrade the drive failed to appear in My Computer. It is not at all visible. I checked in Disk Management and it was also showing a single partition only. I need some help to locate the hard drive.

I think updating bios can fix the issue. It is a common issue with old system. One more thing you can check is that your system has appropriate SATA drivers. If that is missing or not available then your system fails to find the second drive. You can change the cable once or try to hook the drive on some other port. Go in bios and see whether the drive is listed or not.
