Want some help to Shrink Volume for dual booting a system

I need some help to dual boot my system. But I do not want to modify any other partition. I looking for some option through which I can shrink the existing Windows Directory. I am using XP rightnow and want to add Vista. The size of C drive is around 280GB and I want to take 200GB out of it. The existing tool in Vista does not allow me to go above 160GB.

The inbuilt partitioning tool comes with some limitation due to which you are getting that error. It is recommended that you use a third party software. Gparted is one of them. A very easy to use software to resize the partition as per your need and easy to manage also. I will not recommend you to use Vista utility. Because if there is any issue with mbr your system might not respond well.
