    Problem-MPU-401 Compatible MIDI Device

I just assembled a new desktop computer and finished installing Windows Vista. It is running with Asus A8N-E mobo with Asus Geforce 7600. On the very first start I found an error message in the system tray saying something like “system cannot find the drivers for MPU-401 Compatible MIDI Device.” I don’t have any idea what is it related to?

Can anyone please give some valuable advice on this? Many thanks.

Even I was having the similar problem, infact the same error message with a yellow mark in Device Manager as well. After doing lots of research I finally found that it was related to my game controller. I just downloaded the required drivers and problem got solved. So just search for the correct Vista drivers on the manufacturer’s official website and install.
