Session won't stick in Vista IIS 7, classic ASP app

I have got a new computer with Windows Vista. I have transferred my classic ASP program over and am able to connect properly to the site and the Access database. But the problem is that I am not able to get my session variables to set in the IIS7 or Vista environment. I dont think that it is a browser problem because I am able to access the site copy on my Windows 2000 computer properly from the browser on the Vista machine. I have McAfee antivirus and it is disabled already but still it did not work. Can anyone help?

I have done some more things it seems to me that the global.asa is not firing because the session/application variables stick fine if it is set eleswhere in the application. So, I dont understand why the global.asa might not work? I have also created the site by adding a new Virtual Directory to the default website.

I have finally got the answer for this problem from another forum, it seems that in the IIS7, the site should be set up as an application and not as a virtual directory and then the global.asa should fire the queries properly.
