start an application in elevated mode after logon

I am running Windows Vista Ultimate on my computer and I have customized application that I want to run automatically in an elevated mode as soon as I login to Windows Vista. Can anyone tell me how am I suppose to do that? Thanks for any information in advance.

Incase its a background task then you can try to schedule the task with the Task Scheduler to run under and administrator or system account with the highest priviledge. But note that the application will not be visible on the screen. Since it is not possible to have an interactive application to run automatically with elevated privileges without prompting the user, so what you are saying is irrelevant.

You can try to use RUNASSPC with the built in administrator to run the application that you want automatically after logon to your Vista system. Runasspc will start the application with other credentials than the logged-on user. The login information for the application like username and password are read from an encrypted file.
