| D346PRT SCSI Controller driver error during RC1
During install, I get a message that I must close the install, upgrade the following driver, and then attempt the install again. The driver is for this device: SCSI and RAID controllers: D346PRT SCSI Controller When I check that device in device manager, the driver was provided by Microsoft. The information I have on the driver is: Driver Provider: Microsoft Driver Date: 7/1/2001 Driver Version: 5.1.2600.2180 Digital Signer: Microsoft Windows Publisher When I attempt to check for updates, it says that the driver has been updated, but nothing really changes. Same driver version and all. I am not 100% certain (since I typed up this post and don't want to reboot and check my BIOS) but I believe that my mobo is an Intel D845EBT. If that info is necessary, I will update this post. Anybody out there have any idea what to do from here? |

Exact same problem here, I've got an Abit NF7 board. Did you find a solution? Courtesy of EggHeadCafe.com Earn money answering messageboard posts at http://www.eggheadcafe.com/forummerit.aspx |

Sadly no, I never found a solution. I, however, did not get a chance over the last week or so to investigate further. "Roy Wasse" wrote: > Exact same problem here, I've got an Abit NF7 board. I have same problem but with A347SCSI SCSI Controller. Driver details are EXACTLY as your have posted. Fo all inents and purposes I have latest driver. I've seen posts whereby this types of problems is or has been related to Daemon Tools and/or Alcohol 120%. I've cleared all remnants of these from my machine (had un-installed long time ago in major clean up) but still same issue. Can't get past this. Don't know if this will help with your D346PRT SCSi error, but I used a utility program called Reg Crawler to locate all entries for "A347SCSI" in registry. Checked off and deleted. I didn't receive message to upgrade this driver any more and proceeded to the actual install process - that's another story for researching ,as get to approx 50% when receive error 0x80070241.
