Intel sata driver ver 5.0.0.1032 = BSOD STOP: 0x0000007E (0xC0000005,
0x8883D6AC, 0x843EB890, 0x843EB58C)
Intel sata driver ver 6.1.0.1002 loaded but does not support the 82801ER

Will try to install from inside XP

Install from inside XP was successful. Intel RAID driver 5.0.0.1032. Dual

RE: Intel RAID 82801ER ICH5R = BSOD stop 7

I am attempting a clean install of RC1. I have a Intel 82801ER, and receive
the exact same BSOD fault code when the RAID driver installs. Exactly! Did
you ever figure a way to do clean install and load the driver? I have a
D875PBZ and Intel says they will no longer support the board. I had no
problems loading the RAID driver within Beta2. Thanks for any Info, and Help.

RE: Intel RAID 82801ER ICH5R = BSOD stop 7

The only way I could install 5600 was to install dual boot and start the
installation from inside XP.

The good news is that I just installed 5728 clean (boot from DVD) with no
problems what so ever. I used Intel F6 driver ver 5.0.0.1032

RE: Intel RAID 82801ER ICH5R = BSOD stop 7

I know this post is nearly a month old but I can't find the 5.0.0.1032 driver
you say you used during the installation. I have searched all over the Intel
site for it but just can't seem to hit the right download page to get the
driver for a floppy.

I am getting the blue error screen with the Win XP driver 3.50.2568

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Re: Intel RAID 82801ER ICH5R = BSOD stop 7

I got win 7 to install doing an upgrade option from vista 32 ultimate.
I had to pick the 82801ER raid driver from floppy/usb to install vista. then I did the upgrade advisor and it said unknown on the intel raid driver. I started the win 7 install from the desktop and let it download setup files.

in the device manager I have

Intel(R) 82801ER SATA RAID Controller
driver version 5.5.0.1035

Silicon Image SiI 3112 SATARaid Controller
driver version 1.0.0.50

i have 2 150gb maxtor sata 1 drives for C raid 0
and 2 wd 500gb non raid on the silicon 3112 controller

ABIT IC7-G
p4 3ghz @ 3.5ghz
2gb mushkin extreme ddr500 dual channel
ati x1950GT

i couldnt get a clean install to work with the floppy or usb, but the upgrade method works
hope this helps someone
