Windows Boot Manager Fails on Vista Install

I want to install Windows Vista beta 2 but after it boots from the DVD then I am getting an error message that says:

"Windows did not start correctly. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.

File: \windows\system32\winload.exe
Status: 0xc0000001
Info: The selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt."

Can any one point me to a solution because I dont know whether it is a hardware problem or a bad fownload or burn of the ISO image of the operating system. Thank you.

RE: Windows Boot Manager Fails on Vista Install

Thanks for looking through, because I have now solved the problem. I found out that it was indeed a bad burn of the ISO image of the OS. So, after making a new DVD, I was able to install Vista on my computer without any issues.

RE: Windows Boot Manager Fails on Vista Install

Even I am facing this similar kind of problem after when Vista tries to install and and fails after its first restart. I have checked your solution of redownloading the ISO file of the OS and then re-burning it, but still nothing seems to be working in my case? Is there any other solution? Thanks

Did you check out an article on Winload.exe to fix this issue? Are the hard drives autodetected in your BIOS and maybe the hard drive that has the operating system on it gets dectected or not? The main problem with Vista is that it will not detect the hard drives and therefore it cannot finish booting from it. So, can you confirm if the drives are showing in the BIOS or autodetecting in the BIOS?
