Windows 7 and Windows Mail question

Hi Folks,

I posted this question to the Windows 7 forum but did not get an answer so
I'm trying here.

I have installed Windows 7 and can't find Windows Mail (Not Windows Mail
Live). I want to transfer all my email stuff from Windows Mail to Outlook or
Windows Mail Live. How do I do that after the Windows 7 install?

TIA,
Shane

Re: Windows 7 and Windows Mail question

You have to install WLM from MS
No mail app is included in Win7

Re: Windows 7 and Windows Mail question

Open Live Mail
From the File Menu select Import
From the dialog box select Windows Mail

Re: Windows 7 and Windows Mail question

It can be confusing - Win 7 uses Windows Live Mail (not Windows Mail ala
Vista) or Outlook.

Re: Windows 7 and Windows Mail question

Windows 7 doesn't come with any email program.
Most users will download and use Windows Live Mail.

components
