Recovery of HP Presario C700

I’m using Windows Vista on HP Presario C700 laptop. The problem is there was recovery partition earlier but don’t know how I lost it. However I have the recovery Disk with me that I received at the time of purchase. So I wanted to know is it possible to restore the system to factory settings using this recovery disk?

Yes you can restore your system using that recovery/backup CD but the only problem is it will delete all your data. So if you have any external drive, better backup all your data first.
