| Re: How many times can I activate? Hello Leobelbas, For a retail or OEM version of Vista, it's only one time per product key number. Hi, You can reinstall and reactivate as often as you see fit. At a point, you will need to phone in activations instead of using the automated routine, but there's no limit to it. What you *can't* do is create multiple concurrent installations on the same machine using the same license. IE: dual boot (or more) to separate installations on the same machine. The license limit is one install to one machine. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org Vote for my shoe: http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Leobelbas" <guest@unknown-email.com> wrote in message news:202297c78437fe61f80d235752382f0c@nntp-gateway.com... > > How many times can I install and activate Windows Vista on the *same* > PC? > > > -- > Leobelbas |

One can REinstall Vista as many times as one desires, but only one installation can be activated per key at any given time on either the same PC or multiple PCs. If it's been quite some time since the most recent activation (120 days I believe) then activation should be possible via the Internet. If there is a problem, it can be activated via a free phone call. >Leobelbas;1099317 Wrote: >> How many times can I install and activate Windows Vista on the *same* >> PC? |
