Vista Ultimate x64 backup & restore

I did a complete system backup so i could change hdd's out both 1tb i
tryed to restore it from the vista disk but it says device not ready

Hi,

A backup would not restore the boot sector. Do a startup repair by booting
the Vista disk in the system and running the option when available after the
initial setup stage.
