Vista SP2 Beta error code 0xc004f013

I get the SP to install at Stage 3 100% then it says failed, reverting
changes.

I tried no pagfefile, disabling soundcard, unplugging all USB items,
disable system restore, uninstall kb941649, disabled all non-M$ services
and all start-up items, via MSCONFIG and rebooted first.

Haven't found a fix yet.

"Beta" does not mean "better" it means, "Test version of software, may not
work on all systems, may not work at all on some systems, may not be
uninstallable, may require a reformat and reinstall to remove."

IOW, wait for the release version. :-)

Well, here's one you didn't mention having tried:

Did the update install KB955430: Vista SP2 Servicing Stack......

If so and SP2 failed to install, restart and bring up windows update: check
for updates
you should see: KB947821: System Update Readiness Tool Vista
Install it
It will take some time and pause at 60%, do not close, it is still working
to fix and update, it may take as long as 45 minutes
