Error 0x8007045D

When i am trying to install windows Vista Home Premium 32bit on my laptop using its genuine installation disc then after entering serial i am getting error message saying "Windows cannot open the required D:\Sources\Install.wim. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x08007045D". I have tried restarting the installtion process several times but i get same error again and again. Any ideas what might be wrong?

It seems as if there is something wrong with your dvd, have you tried using it in other working system? if not then check it out. If it works fine then there are possibilities that your cd rom might not be working properly. You can test it out by using some other dvd or simply cleaning its lens.

jigu902003 is right, i have faced same error once while installing windows Vista and it was because of a bad dvd. It turned out faulty after some time, it used to work previously but i wasn't able to make out what went wrong with it. I simply downloaded vista iso image, burned it to new dvd and installation process went fine after that.
