Windows Media Player Can't Edit Track Information

Hi, this is Windows Vista Basic Home Edition system with Windows Media Player 11. I want to edit some track information like i use to do in XP's Media Player but Media Player 11 wont allow me to edit the same. Is it due to Basic Edition of Vista?

I right-click on the song title and click edit... i enter the correct title for the song and press enter... it just returns to the previous title. It does the same for new songs and old. It's the same for the artists, the albums and the other...

Any suggestions? Please?

Hello Jasper. Just go through the following. Open Windows Media Player, click Tools > Options > Library > Monitor Folders menu dialog. Is there any thing in this or its empty? To me its appears like the problem is because of your Corrupt Media Library. You should reset them inorder to fix the problem. If you dont kow how to do that, check this Article.
