Mine does...with both Vista Home Basic desktop, and Vista Home Premium laptop. The laptop does it by Network Magic wireless. |

I have a the HP LaserJet 1200 on my Vista Home Premium system. Have you tried installing the HP PCL 5 driver? It worked on mine. It's likely you know this, but sometimes the operating system recognizes the peripherals better by attaching them before you start up. |

Thanks, everybody. Im not sure what is going on. I have a new compaq laptop so maybe that is the issue. I went to properties and changed to print directly to printer as opposed to spooling and i can print but cant change printing preferences. |
