Re: Stop error 0x0000007a

Hi,

The causes of a 0x7a error are the same regardless of the operating system.
Generally these include bad controller drivers, loose cabling, bad block on
the hard drive, or memory errors. Solutions would include:

- reinstalling or updating controller drivers
- running the memory diagnostic tool
- running a drive integrity check tool from the manufacturer
- reseating the power and data cable for the drive (both ends)

It's also possible that there is a hardware issue with the socket on the
motherboard, in which case it would need to be replaced.

RE: Stop error 0x0000007a

I'm getting the same error when I'm trying to connect to a share printer on
an XP machine from a Vista machine.
I have been able to connect to the share printer from another XP machine. So
far I haven't been able to find the solution. Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Stop error 0x0000007a

OK, this is how I got to fix my problem.
I had to add the printer as a local port on the win vista machine. All I had
to do is grab the related information about the share PC and share printer
and I use it when I got to create the local printer.
