Blue screen of death and log files

I built a new system over the weekend and install Vista Ultimate and was
running fine for a day until I came back home from work the next day to find
the machine was turn off. So I turn it back on but it keep rebooting
everytime when it reaches the desktop with the following error:

Here is the message on the screen before it reboot:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.

MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

Technical information:
*** STOP: 0x0000001A (0x00041790,0xc0801648,0x0000FFFF,0x00000000)

and here is the dump after reboot to safe mode:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.256.1
Locale ID: 4105

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 1a
BCP1: 00041790
BCP2: C0801648
BCP3: 0000FFFF
BCP4: 00000000
OS Version: 6_0_6000
Service Pack 0_0
Product: 256_1

I am not able to attach the 3 dump file here but if anyone need it to
analyse, I can certainly email them.

System configuration:
MB: EVGA e-7100/630i.
CPU : E2180
Memory : 2x1GB OCZ PC-6400
Hard Disk : Maxtor 250GB SATA II

Any kind of help will be very much appreciated.
Thomas

Re: Blue screen of death and log files

A couple of things to check. Make sure you have updated video drivers for
your system. Also it is possible that it might be a memory issue. Update
your drivers first and see if that fixes it. If not, you just might want to
run some memory tests. Swap memory if you can.

That is a good place to start.

Re: Blue screen of death and log files

I run memtest against the memory and found 1 faulty memory. replace it and
now is up and running with no reboot. Hopefully, that's it.
