Why Vista keep forgetting password shared network? remember checkedoff.

why dont you set Vista to use the "simple file sharing" so that you wont
have to enter passwords??

The "Client for Microsoft Networks" protocol does that, and if the Windows
logon ID/pass matches the network ID/pass, it does not put up the dialog.
