Vista Home Premium Backup Fails (error 0x8007007B)

I have few computers in my office running with XP and Linux. Recently i upgraded one of them to Vista Home Premium and migrated many files from a linux running PC. Now the problem is whenever i try to attempt to create a backup using 'Backup and Restore Center', it gives me an error message:

"An error occurred. The following information might help you resolve the error: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.(0x8007007B)"

After trying out many troubleshoots finally i found that when i I deselect 'Documents' in backup settings, I can get a successful backup. SO it is probably a file in Documents which is creating the problem but how can i identify that particular file? There are more than 200 files in my documents. Any idea? Please help.

Well the problem seems to be occurring only after migrating files from Linux tro Vista because i have had the same problem after migrating files from Ubuntu on my computer and I,ve been able to delete all the files and folders except for a folder named "Documents". Whenever i tried deleting this folder, i got an error message saying: "The file name you specified is not valid or too long. Specify a different file name". Also i wasn't able to rename the folder.

When I type a name into the box then click OK, I get an error message saying "A file name cannot contain any of the following characters: \ / : * ? < > |". What I typed didn't contain any of those characters! Hope somebody here can help me out of this.
