Strange dialog box - a real mystery

This crops up every ten minutes or so.

Message title:
Program path: C:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer\Svchost.exe (but the file isn't in that folder)
Received: Today, February 07, 2008

This problem happens because of partial incompatibility
with Windows Vista.

Avast! finds nothing.
HijackThis sees that apparently spurious svchost file,
but cannot delete it.

Any ideas on what I've done to my fast, stable,
excellent Vista Business installation?

Download the free version of SUPERAntiSpyware
and run a scan.

Have you tried scanning with Windows Defender?

You can also try a System Restore point before this
started happening.

Google scvhost (press "I'm feeling lucky") and you will be taken to a page
that states this is a virus/Trojan and appears to give you a free way of
getting rid of it. I'd also go to Norton and check this out in its
definitions, before making use of the free offer, just in case the offer is
part of a trap!
