I got the Blue Screen and Unexpected Shutdown error as follows: signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional information about the problem: BCCode: 101 BCP1: 00000060 BCP2: 00000000 BCP3: 82467120 BCP4: 00000001 OS Version: 6_0_6000 Service Pack: 0_0 Product: 768_1 Files that help describe the problem: C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini020608-01.dmp C:\Users\Jennifer\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-173281-0.sysdata.xml C:\Users\Jennifer\AppData\Local\Temp\WER4392.tmp.version.txt Read our privacy statement: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?link...3&clcid=0x0409 I was just working on email. FYI, I installed Microsoft Word 2000 from my old discs from my old computer. Could that have caused this problem or is it simply Vista being Vista? My sister has a laptop from a different manufacturer and has the same problem. Any help would be appreciated. Rick, Did you find out anything about this shutdown issue? I get the same BCCode 101. I would like to know how to read the minidump files to see if I can figure out what the problem is.
