Windows cannot change the password

This makes no sense. I had no problem with our Vista laptop but with our new
desktop that also has Vista Home Premium, I am unable to CHANGE? passowrd.
When I click Create A New Password, a message pops up saying "Windows cannot
change password" -There is no password to change!

Re: Windows cannot change the password

Okay, So I just got a new PC running Vista Home Premium x64. i had the
same exact problem as this dude. What I did to solve it was created
another administrator account which I then used to create/change the
password on the original account. Hope this helps someone.
