Re: Offline files fail to synchronize

    Hello,

I have the same problem with Windows 7 clients and Excel 2007 in compatibility mode.
When i open an Excel file, it goes on offline mode and stay like this until i activate a manual synchronization.

Does somebody has found a solution.

    thank you very much.

It might be an Antivirus and firewall programs problem that could be the root issue. If the issue persists after you disabling antivirus, please let us know what is the system of the server computer which shares the folder for profile redirection. If it is Windows Server 2003, I suggest you change the default NTLM authentication level in Windows 7.

    1. Open gpedit.msc from Start Search box. Then locate to the following policy.
    2. Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options\Network security: LAN Manager authentication level
    3. Please change “Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated”.

    Hello JAMES_911,

    Thank you for your answer.
    I tried to :
    - disable Antivirus and firewall program : always same error.
    - change Local Policies as you explain : always same error.

Server which share the folder = MS Windows server 2003 R2 SP2 Standard Edition

Perhaps have you another idea ?
I try to find something on the Web since 1 week. Nothing about this....

    Thank you.
    Chacho.
