| Re: collecting Crash dump on vista Just in case anybody else Googles into this one... I'm just had a blue screen with the corresponding "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown" popup upon reboot... so here's the location of the dump files: Files that help describe the problem: C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini121307-01.dmp c:\temp\WER-159640-0.sysdata.xml c:\temp\WERF459.tmp.version.txt FYI my "temp" environment variable is set to c:\temp so I'm assuming that's why those last two went there. -- Beej  |
