to delete this user account or do i need it there for a reason. |

Hello, I think it's been set up with the installation of .NET Framework. You can safely remove it (are you developing ASP.NET applications on this machine?). |

no i am not havent a clue what that is? just noticed this asp-net account when i went to set up a new user account,got a bit jittery thinking some had access to my computer as it is password protected. |

Hello, OK, it was installed by Windows itself. You can remove it if you want to. |
