Media Player 11 Crashes on launch

Hey guys. I had the same problem. My media player would crash after
about 2 seconds. I tried everything including osri. No results. I went
to the Microsoft database, which I should have done right off the bat,
and found this article. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933547
It was a stupid usb flash drive I had bought. The instant I removed it,
media player worked again. A few other tricks I tried along the way
helped too. If you run media player as administrator, it works. Also
disabling user accounts in your control panel fixes it momentarily.
