hpqwmiex Module stopped working and was closed

[Lost at college]

Does anyone know what that means and how to fix it? I don't know what
happened it just started showing up everytime I start up the computer. says
a problem caused the application to stop working correctly. Windows will
notify you if a solution is available. ya like that will happen.

I had the same issue and almost drove myself crazy trying to figure out how to fix it. Brought my laptop to the IT guy at work and after researching and trying different things without luck, he decided to disable the program from the msconfig. Go to run type msconfig. Look for the file name hpqwmiex and (usually on the Services tab)deselect the same... Good Luck.
