Re: Why OH! Why can't I play DVD's in Windows Media

    You asked :

These are what are referred to as "other players" when I asked "Are any of
your other players able to play the DVD?"

    My Answer :

Ok, Let me make it clear, On the vista operating system I can play the DVD's
on the other installed stand alone players; such as, Cyberlink PowerDVD 7
    and Sonic CinePlayer.

But, I can NOT play DVD's in the Vista Media Player. Which I really want to
    use.

Also, You have to understand, over two weeks ago I had no problems playing
tons of DVD movies in the Vista Media Player. I did not install or change
anything that would interfere with the vista media player.

There is obviously a difference in this DVD and the others that you were
playing successfully. Could the DVD have a different country code?

Are any error messages shown when you try and play the DVD?

Do you hear the sounds and see no picture?
