Hi
My OS is Vista Business.
Motherboard: Manufacturer ASUSTeK Computer INC.
Product Name M2N4-SLI
Ethernet Card: NVIDA nForce Networking Controller
Modem-Router: NetComm NB5Plus4 ADSL2+

In order to use the Remote Desktop, the server PC has to be switched on all
the time. I’m going overseas for 3 weeks and would like to have access to my
home PC. My aim is to switch on my PC remotely on in order to have access to
my remote desktop. I’ve used this web address to configure. the BIOS
,Ethernet card [NIC] and ADSL modem-router
http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/conte.../29941/53/1/1/

The BIOS: Under AMP Configuration [Power]
I’ve enabled: Power Up On PCI/PCIE Devices [Enable PME to wake up from S5
by PCI devices & NV Onboard LAN.

On the Ethernet Card [NIC]: NVIDA nForce Networking Controller, in Advanced
tab
I’ve enabled: WakeOnLan From PowerOFF
In Power Management I enabled Allow this devise to wake the computer.

I downloaded the Magic Packet Utility from:
http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/cont.../magic_pkt.exe
It uses UDP port 2304

Modem-Router: the Port forwarding is configured to
UDP port 2304 [Start 2304-End 2304- Map 2304]
Windows firewall is configured to the same port 2304
I’m able to ping my static IP address from a different location.

I’m using Open Port Check Tool for the remote desktop
http://www.canyouseeme.org/ Success: I can see your service on port 3389.
When I use port 2304 Error: I could not see your service.
When I type in my static IP and MAC address in the Magic Packet Utility from
a different location I’m unable to wake the computer.
CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE!!!
