Help - Can't change default email program

My system is running on windows Vista Home Premium and i want to know, how can i set Thunderbird as default mail program ? I have tried setting it as default program form Widows mail options but its grayed out. Is there any other alternate way of setting it as default mail program. If yes, then please let me know the steps required for setting it, thanks in advance.

Re: Help - Can't change default email program

You may be doing something wrong in the "set default programs" in control panel. At helpviavideodotcom there is a video on how to change your default.

    Here is the link http://helpviavideodotcom/watch.php?vidid=15

just change the dotcom to .com
