| System Event Notification Service service
Sorry people I am a total dunderhead but: last couple of days when I have logged off my account (administrator) and gone to log on to my partners account (standard) the message "System Event Notification Service service" appears and prevents her from logging on. What's all this about? |

I'm having the same problem. I already tried restarting it and that did nothing. I'd like to know what the system event service has to do with people logging on? Please help!!!! I am also having that same problem. It appears there is no solution to this problem. As an interim measure, I would set all accounts to have Administrative privileges until such time as Microsoft gets off their duff and fixes this problem.
