Yes, it got the menu, BUT there are all in gray color.
It's mean that I cannot change View-Mode via the menu too.

    Please give me more suggestion....

    View fix

I had the same problem. In the "Manage Wireless Networks" window, select: Tools / Folder Options / View / Reset Folders

Back in the View menu, the greyed out options should be selectable again.

    Hope that helps.

    RE: View fix

I had the same issue, and now have a similar problem in "manage network
    connections"

The problem is not only that the icons are locked in a single view, but also
that they are no longer sorted by type, and many of the details are missing.
In manage network connections, this means that the bars that can be collapsed
sorting the connections by type (ex: wireless, wired, bridge) are missing.
This is more problematic in the wireless network connections because the
networks are not sorted by the order in which the computer connects

Hi. I am having this problem as well. I recently installed a new wireless network antenna. i used the disk that came with it and realized later that I didnt even need to. I could have just plugged it in and used Vista to control it. Anyway, I'm not sure if that situation caused this problem but i have uninstalled the software and still have those large icons in the wireless networks management view.

The "reset folders" solution above works to get my large icons back to the details type list but the list still isn't visually in the preferred priority. I can see that my fourth network down is actually my first preffered network by watching the "move up" or "move down" arrows. I know that the fourth network is the 1st preffered one because when highlighting it, the "move up" button is not available.

Is there a sort feature that i am missing or am I using the wrong view or something? The regular ascending or descending sorts available in the "view" menu work in the classic way. There is not preffered networks order that I see.... and I don't see why there should be. They should just be in the preffered order all the time.

I can't even remember what it looked like originally at this point! I just remember it was a details type list in the order of my preferred networks I think....

Any ideas? I see this problem throughout the web. This is the only place I found a partial solution. For me, it's not really much better. :(

BTW, I originally posted to some type of form box on another page that had a link to this forum, then I joined. Sorry if this message ends up duped somehow.

    Thanks.

Re: Manage wireless networks show large icons

I have the same problem, mine appeared suddenly and spontaneously, not because of anything I did or changed. One problem, when I followed the suggestion of opening the tools menu while in the "manage wireless networks" window, I couldn't find any tools menu. Nothing, nada, zip. The only option I seem to have is right click, choose "view" and then... everything greyed out as described by previous posts. Any other solutions, or ways to get to that "tools" menu? Thanks.
