    Thank you Engel! I work at a premiere Computer Builder and we have ran into
    this problem many times, our solution is to just re-image the comp.. I have
    stuff on mine I don't want to loose. Dial-a-Fix got through the problem
    wonderfully..

    Hi Engel,

    I'm having the same problem only I'm using a 64 bit Windows Vista OS.
    Dial-a-fix is not available for Vista yet. Ccleaner did not help. Any
    suggestions?

    I'm sorry if I am in the wrong area for this to but, I am having the same
    problem as well. My question is, why do you have to run these to applications
    in safe mode as apose to the normal way? I am going to try this method and
    see if I can get my updates to install on my system.
