Chess Titans Issue

Every time I play Chess Titans, my screen freezes while playing. I have a ATI
Saphire 1600 512mg video card. My index score is a 4.6 on graphics and a 4.9
on gaming graphics. All drivers are up to date. What could it be? Any help?

This game seems to be a monster when it comes to CPU useage. I played
using a geforce 7950 and even that ran slightly lagged.

This is new to me, so bear with me:
Just started playing Chess Titans 6.0 (build 6002, service pack 2) on a 32 bit VISTA and love the learning process. However, just when I thought I was closing in on victory against the computer, Chess Titans suddenly decided to load (reload) itself and then I went into one of those "not responding" modes and had to reboot. Most frustrating!! Does anybody know why this would happen? Did my new found expertise in chess just scare the hell out of it?

I am sure that something is wrong with the Chess Titans game folder. Does your system goes in "not responding" mode only after winning the game? Even if goes to this mode, the only cause for happening this is the game files issue. So try to install one more time.

Did my new found expertise in chess just scare the hell out of it?
