Follow Bright's suggestions and you'll certainly be screwed. Just let Ubuntu
handle the install and go with the default partition sizes it uses.

i have installed ubuntu 6.06 on a vista machine acer aspire 5610 laptop and now the windows is not booting ..... the grub shows windows nt/2000/xpas the option and on selecting it acer recovery management starts which asks me to restore the system to factory settings ....what should i do....pls help
