EVR fullscreen window: windows - bad Image

Anybody seen this message before? One of my clients is getting it as of
tonight and I can't find anything on it.

I started getting the same message after one of my kids messed around
with the computer. I'm not sure what they did, but one of the programs
they messed with was iTunes. When I uninstalled iTunes, the problem
    went away.

    EVR Bad Image Error

Confirming other reports I STOPPED the "EVR Full Screen...Bad Image" popup by just 1. reinstalling Itunes and then 2. restarting my computer. Wallah...problem gone. I had the problem on Vista Premium and wanted to reaffirm that this solution at least worked for me and was simple and harmless to the computer. Good luck!

I'm getting this message (alternating with a similar one that doesn't
mention EVR Fullscreen) when playing downloaded programmes from BBC
iPlayer. Again, I can get rid of it by pressing OK several times quickly
and the programme pays OK - it's just very annoying, and BBC says that
    it's a general problem in WMP 11.
The problem started only after I did a Repair Install of Vista Home
Premium (32 bit), which caused me to need to delete and reinstall the
    DMR files (under BBC guidance).
    Any ideas?

Re: EVR fullscreen window: windows - bad Image

I seem to have cracked this! First I tried uninstalling both RealPlayer and
    iTunes
and rebooting - but the problem was still there. Then I looked for the last
Windows Update that mentioned WMP - and found it was KB 929399. So I
uninstalled that, and after rebooting - the problem has disappeared!
From the description of the 'important' update, I don't think I'll miss it
(it's about rights to downloaded music, which I don't do) - but will its
absence cause a problem regarding installation of Vista SP1?
I'll go back and reinstall RealPlayer and report back if it causes a problem.

Hmm...sorry guys, reinstalling RealPlayer 11 (free version) has brought the
problem back BUT uninstalling it again won't clear it - damn! And System
Restore isn't letting me go back far enough to reinstate the good setup -
'unidentified problem'! Any idea how to overcome that?

How can I eliminate that blasted " EVR Fullscreen bad image " message.
Everything I read on this doesn't seem to work.

I wanted to know how you deleted the KB929399 file. How do you find the past
    window updates.??
