What file? What does it want you to do with it?
Something sounds very 'fishy' here:
No program ever requires any files from your system for installation, except
for the fact that it may be sharing some files,
but you certainly don't have to look for them.
How about letting us know the nature of this program.
sure...(embarassed) it's a torrent. obviously its a way to crack the file so that i don't have to "have the cd" or purchase it. I know it's bad...but the game is unavailable anywhere...well it is but too expensive....Instructions are as follows:
Same method in Aerosoft products..
1. go to C:\Documents and Settings\tony\Local Settings\Temp
2. start the installer
3. select a language
4. go back to the 'Temp' folder. two new directories will have been created. open the one at the bottom.
5. inside you will see two files and one folder. open that folder.
6. copy the 'fstype.dll' from the 'crack' folder to that folder you just opened.
7. now proceed with the installer:-)
In vista:
C:/User/appdata/local/temp
Thanx,
fsgamer
Thats what came with it...but the problem is that nowhere on my system...following his instructions...can i find any of these files.Usually torrents comew with better istructions but this is all i got!!
Appdata is a hidden folder.
Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Folder Options.
View tab > Select ' Show hidden files, folders and drives.'
Then it's C:\Users\your name\AppData
LOL you are not very good at this are you?
It's asking you to install a trojan yourself...
Nothing ever gets "installed" in a temp folder.
Get another torrent or pay for it.
Guess not but I'm pretty computer savvy...now how do i distinguish both!!lol By the way. Starting college soon...Anything you guys can reccomend I take guided towards computer programming and don't say computer programming...Thanks
