Customize folder and apply to all folders on computer?

I have 3 drives on my computer.

I want every single folder on the computer to be set to "All Items" so it
shows in details list mode, I also want to customize that view a little bit
and apply it to every single folder on the computer.

Then, I want to go back to My Pictures, My Music, My Videos, Contacts and
a few other multimedia folders I have and have those folders be in their
related template view and not affect the other folders on the computer. Also,
I don't want the other folders on the computer to decide on their own to
    change to something else.

How do i do this? I could do it in XP but I can't do it in Vista because
the XP option to "apply to all folders" is now changed to "apply to all
    folders of same type"

Please don't give me the same response I have seen a hundred times that
states "Go to a folder, go to properties, customize and apply to all
subfolders." Please read my question first, If your still leaning towards
this response then read my question again. if you still can't figure out
what I'm talking about, then don't post anything.

Man, you are a control freak.
Man, you are a douchebag. Apparently you can't figure it out and still can't understand simple instructions, such as "don't post anything".
