User Profile Service failed

I'm running vista home premium and I get the erroe message User Profile
Service service failed the logon.
I saw the other posts about renaming the file with.bak, but the logon that
failed is the Administrator.
Any ideas?
I have no Admin rights on my own PC. Thanks vista.

As if Microsoft being in bed with NSA wasn't enough. This problem is giving me the motivation required to dump Microsoft.

I have the same problem: USer Profile Service service failed to logon. User Profiled could not be loaded.

If this is not fixed, I am out of here.

I am switching to Linux. I hope it does not have the same problem.
