| Cannot display SOME chinese characters
I bought a laptop that came with Windows Vista Home Premium. When I download some chinese songs, some of them will display and some will appear as gibberish..... there is no language pack avail for vista yet. I really dont' know what to do... is there anyway around it? Any programs that can help solve this? Thanks! |

Open Region and Language in the Control Panel and under Formats tab select Chinese (PRC) as current format then select the Administrative tab and press the Change System Locale button and set for Chinese (PRC) as well. On the Keyboards and Languages tab you can a Chinese IME as well for inputting pinyin for Chinese characters. Simon |
