I've read that Under Windows Vista HP, unless I'm logged on as the
Administrator account, all applications run in a reduced privilege mode,
even if my account has administrative privileges. When I execute a command
that requires higher privileges, I'm prompted on whether the action should
be allowed. This is Windows Vista User Access Control (UAC) functionality
which at times can be extremely annoying. Recently, I was prompted for
permission before I was allowed to create a new folder, which for me was the
final straw.
How do I log on as the Administrator each time I boot my computer so I don't
have to deal with the prompts anymore? I'm the only person who uses my
computer.
Thank you.
