EA Games Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour works perfectly fine in Vista

In case anyone wanted to know.

That happens to be my favourite game, along with a heap of mods. I've been
running it without issue in just about every version, both x86 and x64,
since Beta 2

My C&C ZH wont allow me to play online, messsage "Cannot connect to C&C
Generals Zero Hour"
Any tips/thoughts, I've allowed it full access through both windows and
McAfee fire walls still no joy. Please help.

anytime i start to play online or single player I get about two minutes into the game and then everything blows up and say I have been defeated. does anyone know what is causing this?

i cant get zh to run on vista, what do i do to install? do i need to uninstalland reinstall c&c generals 3?

hour. i have installed the game but whenever i try to play solo or
multiplayer it always says that i need to insert a missing cd. pls

Hi, I wish if you can hellp me with this,
I have the same game but I can't install it, and the message that shows is
C & C Generals was not found. Pleas install the full version of C&C Generals and try again.
the system has not been modified. To install/uninstall this program at a later time, run the application again.

look do u have the orginel CD of this game?
if u r not, so there is a crack for this game that u can find in the CD1,
have fun,
any way do u use Vista or XP?

hi can someone help me wiht this. then i start the game it just sey: You have a serious error. i thingk its becos i dont have anything in command and conquer generals zero hour data but i have something in command and conquer generals data.

I appreciate all the tips here, but I cannot get them to work on my new laptop. So I'm locked out of my favorite game!

I have admin rights on my user name, and when I try to install Generals CD1 I get an error that shows it is unable to rename/delete three files. It continues to try changing those files over and over again looping perpetually. Does anyone know how I can get past this and finish installing Generals and then Generals ZH?

I don't know if there are anything specific about the game installer, but
here are a couple of things to try:
Running as administrator and having admin rights are different on systems
with UAC enabled. Try right-clicking on the setup program and selecting
run-as-administrator.

Another possibility, try installing to a different folder, such as C:\GAMES
which works differently from c:\program files

Hi Mark, i do the same thing like you say, run as administrator, then i can play online but only 1 game, when i want to play again, again doesnt work :( write: unable to connect with other player(s) or somethimes disconect when im playing and write about VOTE ....do you know the reason? Please help me, thank you! :(

Hi, I have installed the game WITH a CD but I only borowd it from a friend so I need a crack, if anyone can give me a link (preferebly no toorent) and maybe a short tut on how to use it that would be great..
