| Where is my Ultimate Dreamscene?
It appears some folk (including myself) aren't getting the update. I have Vista Ultimate and previous extras have loaded with no problem. I viewed the update history to see if I had missed it - it's not in update history . I tried the check for updates button and no updates are no available (last update was 2/13.) I checked the desktop background menus to see if it had mysteriously appeared - no joy. I checked the Control Panel to ensure I'm still running Windows Vista Ultimate and that's it activated - all good. Does somebody know why some people aren't getting the update or what might be preventing the update? |

Since it's an "Optional" update, you'll have to go out to windows update and request it manually. Yes, and you don't have to be activated. "Maverick" <Maverick@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:AF5F5075-02C6-45ED-AB06-B86340B28F5B@microsoft.com... >I have an OEM version, will I be able to get it? > > and Do I need to be activated first? > > > Thx > > Mav |

Richard, I'm running the OEM version of Vista Ultimate on my new out of the box Dell Inspiron 1705E and as I mentioned in the original message, I received the other ultimate extras without issue. Also, I already checked to ensure that I'm activated. Any suggestions?
