ReadyBoost registry hack..!

I had purchased a Vista Ready Upgrade 8GB Flash Drive. I am getting extremely slow speed on that. I am not able to get proper output here. It is extremely slow. I had tired to enabled ReadyBoost here but that is not working fine. I had gone through some registry hack here which does not looks to be working well. Is there is some problem with the usb. How can I improve the speed here. I am not able to find any solution on it.

ReadyBoost here just improve the system performance. There can be problem with the pen drive also due to which you are not able to use ReadyBoost on the same. There is a prescribed space require for readyboost. I think your hard drive is full due to which you are facing the problem. Just empty it and then test back. Also you can go in properties and test out readyboost settings. That will be more easy for you to enable a set of options which might really work.

Go in device manager and try to re-install the pen drive. ReadyBoost commonly works with all pen drives. It has very basic settings. But if you are facing a performance issue with the same then there can be issue with the drivers or with the hardware in your system. So you have to simply check that your system drivers are updated. Uninstall the pen drive from Device Manager and then add it back. Another thing if you had connected the usb on slow usb port then also this kind of issue appear.
